Ivinghoe & Pitstone United Cricket Club was founded around 1840, and has been a significant force in local cricket since then. The club plays its home matches on the recreation ground at Pitstone, and welcomes anyone who wishes to play, umpire, score, make the tea, mow the pitch or just support us! The club’s senior side plays friendly matches on Sunday afternoons against local sides, and participates in two mid-week evening competitions. These are both knock-out tournaments (Coronation and Dayla Cups).
We have a growing junior section, and this season have under 9's, under 11's, under 13's, under 15's and under 17's playing in the Aylesbury mid week league.
For the third year running, in 2009 the club will be playing league cricket on Saturdays, with a development team made up of a mixture of Adults and older colts in division 5 of the Morrants Four Counties Cricket League.
